It's really like all the other guests say: It's a VERY unique train-themed accommodation with super-friendly staff, comfortable beds, air condition, elevators and great breakfast! This place is a gem and I'll definitely come back, when visiting Amsterdam again!

Excellent location to the train station and city centre , couldn’t really get any better. Breakfast was good., Not a lot of variety but the basics. Nice breakfast room. Room wasn’t the quietest as there was construction going on outside and our room faced the street. Very small room but the bathroom was an okay size. Excellent security for entering the hotel. Everything considered we would definitely stay here again

We were looking to stay in a non-chain local hotel within walking distance of the main train station and various sites. The A Train worked out perfectly. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Love the train themed eating area. Lots of unique touches. The breakfast was a typical small continental style which was perfect for us. We mentioned to the front desk that we were checking out before breakfast time and they graciously set up and let us have a breakfast early before departure. We had an issue with a site seeing tour we had booked and the manager called the tour company for us to help get it straightened out. Above and beyond! Highly recommend!!

The location was next to Amsterdam Central station and a walking distance to the center of the city, staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and modest, breakfast was not bad,mostly croissants, toast, cereals, boiled eggs, fruits, coffee, teas and orange juice, the drinks like coffee and tea were available 24/7 and unlimited, we were allowed to leave our bags after check out with no issues.

The staff was wonderful including the Manager. Very friendly and helpful. The location is great except the road is torn up (not their fault) so taxis and tours couldn't pick up or drop up there. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. Loved having 24/7 tea and coffee, free. Frig and teapot in room, nice. Bathroom nice.
